Check image dimensions, estimate publication-readiness, resize oversized figures, create a JPEG copy when useful, and generate a simple figure-readiness report before journal, thesis, report, or online submission.
Images are processed locally in your browser. They are not uploaded to a server.
1. Upload and check
Best for PNG, JPG/JPEG, or WebP files. TIFF and PDF support varies by browser and are not included in this first browser-only version.
Use 1200–1800 px for web, 1800–2400 px for many manuscript figures, and higher for line art.
Higher quality means larger file size. 85–92 is often a reasonable balance.
Important: This tool cannot create true resolution that is not present in the original image. If a figure is too small, re-export it from the original source software at a higher pixel width.
2. Readiness report
Upload a figure and click Check & Optimize Figure. Results will appear here.
3. Preview
Preview is for visual checking only. Always review the downloaded file and the target journal instructions before final submission.
